Program Information
The School of Computer Information Systems offers a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Information Systems with an emphasis in either Cybersecurity or Programming, an Associate of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, a minor in Computer Information Systems, and an Advanced Certificate in Computer Information Systems for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree in another discipline.
The major program is comprehensive requiring a minimum of 60 credit hours of course work in Computer Information Systems and approved courses in business and other supportive requirements; as well as the general education curriculum and elective courses.
The Associate degree consists of 25 hours of CIS core and elective courses, in addition to the general education curriculum requirements. The minor requires a minimum of 18 credit hours of specified course work in Computer Information Systems. The advanced certificate require a minimum of 24 credit hours of specified course work in Computer Information Systems.
